RUN FOR MILITARY FAMILIES

Ottawa-Petawawa: MAY 6-7, 2010

 

EVENT SCHEDULE

To acknowledge gathered supporters, donors, veterans, students and military families along the way, the running convoy – consisting of commissionaires and military personnel – will make brief stops over the course of two days at the following assembly points:

 

DAY 1: Thursday, May 6, 2010
MAYORS to welcome runners at the following assembly points (open to everyone):

8:00-9:00 a.m.            Event Kick-Off: Ottawa, Parliament Hill, Centennial Flame
1:00-2:00 p.m.            BBQ/Fundraiser: Arnprior, Legion Park, Edey St.
2:20-2:50 p.m.            Gathering/Greetings: Renfrew, from Munroe/Raglan and down Raglan St. S. to Town Hall
4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.    Troops BBQ/Fundraiser: Braeside RA Centre, Sarah St.

DAY 2: Friday, May 7, 2010
MAYORS to welcome runners at the following assembly points (open to everyone):

7:30-7:45 a.m.            Gathering/Greetings: Beachburg, Beachburg Rd./Lapasse Rd. intersection
10:45-11:15 a.m.        Gathering/Greetings: Pembroke, Riverside Park, Pembroke St. W.
12:00-2:00 p.m.          Finish Line/Red Friday Rally: Petawawa, Petawawa Legion
